Book Haul #2

I feel like stroking all of my books and murmuring “my pretties…”

Doesn’t everyone else do that when they have a new shelf-ful of books?

Magonia by Maria Dahvana Headley: it feels like everyone in the blogosphere has read and loved this book. Or at least, has been lusting after that shiny cover.

Archivist Wasp by Nicole Kornher-Stace: Kim, one of the fantastic bloggers at The Midnight Garden posted a really lovely review and it led me to pickup this book, so thank you!

The Beginning of Everything and Extraordinary Means by Robyn Schneider: I think I’m slightly more excited to read the latter because of that intriguing cover. To anyone who has read both, which one did you like better?

The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black: I’m reading this right now and wowza, it’s amazing. The characters, the world, the mystery…I’m only 10% in the book, but I have a feeling that this will be a fae-ry good book.

Aside from my genius puns putting the cherry on your Sundays (somebody, stop me), how was everyone else’s week? What books did you haul in?

  1. I’ve read both of the books by Robyn Schneider and I liked Extraordinary Means better. They were both really good though. Happy reading! 🙂

  2. FAE-RY GOOD. HAHA I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE. And also yaay! I absolutely adore that book!! It’s been one of my favourites this year, so I totally hope you adore it too. And Extraordinary Means was WONDERFUL and adorable and totally reminded me of John Green, in a really really good way (not in a rip-off way). And omg, I need to read Magonia. I bought it on kindle on a sale but I still haven’t gotten to it. XD I NEED.
