Falling for Books

I’ve always loved books. I think that has to be a given due to my blog title. I’ve read a lot of popular books that have been called New York Times Bestsellers and a lot of little-known works by authors who are just starting out. Recently, however, I’ve started to not have the drive to read anymore. Is it because of the modern age where all things sparkly seem to catch my eye and the prospect of countless words scare me off?

The purpose of this blog is to find that magic of reading again. The incredible power of words to draw you in and keep you captivated until the last word on the last page. The amazing imagination of authors who have constructed these characters and fictional worlds that feel more real to me than the one that I am living in.

It’s time for me to crack open a book and prepare myself for the journey ahead.
